Another in my growing collection of children's poetry that's not so much for children.
This is where we are today (we're actually between twos and threes, I wrote this a couple of months ago, but you know what they say about the same shit and different days)...
In Between
Size ones fit eight to twelve pounds
Size twos go to eighteen
I weigh about thirteen pounds
Which means I'm in between
Ones are small and overflow
Twos are big and gap
With either Mom or Dad end up
With nasty in their lap
Now everyone has to change their pants
I'm on today's third pair
And while you're at it could you get
The poop out of my hair
