I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. I'm still here, so are Kate and Sam. We just had a bunch of stuff pile up all at once. I'm hoping to schedule for myself one time per week to update.
Here's what's happened in the last couple of weeks...
The nanny started.
Sam acquired a cousin.
I attended the cousin's bris.
Sam made his first trip to Chicago to meet his cousin, and stayed in a hotel for the first time.
I had my first Father's Day.
Sam went for a week without pooping.
After pooping for the first time in a week he again went for a week without pooping.
There's probably more, but that's what's standing out right now.

This is the account of my experience of my wife's pregnancy with our first, and now second, child. Mostly so friends and family can get updates if they want to know what's going on, but anyone's welcome to read it. I will not update it on any particular schedule, and the only thing you should assume from the absence of an update for a while is that either nothing interesting has happened, or I'm too busy to update.
